Aico EI3000MRF SmartLink Module Description

The Aico EI3000MRF wireless interconnect module can be added onto any of the alarms within Aico’s EI3000 series, enabling wireless interconnections with as many as 12 RadioLINK, RadioLINK+ and SmartLINK devices and alarms. Furthermore, the Aico EI3000MRF SmartLINK module facilitates hybrid communication between wireless and hard-wired connections for even greater convenience and safety.
The Aico EI3000MRF SmartLINK interconnection module can simply plug into a slot at the rear of the alarm’s head, leaving the antenna fully enclosed with no external parts visible. When the alarm powers up, there is an RF LED on the alarm’s side that flashes green, red, and blue to indicate the correct module fitting.
The EI3000MRF module uses a transceiver to repeat, receive and transmit RadioLINK’s RF protocol to ensure a robust RF signal mesh for a reliable communication path. Meanwhile, the Aico EI3000MRF has a House Coding feature that restricts its RF communication only to specified RF devices to avoid inadvertently activating any neighbouring RF system.
The EI3000MRF also has a Remote Alarm Learn feature that enables the whole RF system’s House Coding to be reactivated from a single device before adding extra devices and house coding them accordingly. When the EI3000MRF module is plugged in, wireless interconnection, real-time notifications and data extraction become possible through the SmartLINK Gateway and Portal.
