The Aico EI3028 Multi-Sensor Heat & Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Battery Backup is a mains powered heat and carbon monoxide alarm with built-in, tamper proof rechargeable lithium cells that provide battery back up in the event of mains failure. The EI3028 heat and carbon monoxide alarm also contains Aico's fast acting Class A1 thermistor sensor to detect fire as well as their proven electrochemical CO sensor to detect the presence of toxic levels of CO, providing protection from both fire and carbon monoxide in one alarm.

Aico EI3028 Heat & CO Alarm Description
The Aico EI3028 Multi-Sensor Heat & CO Alarm with Battery Backup operates on AC 230V mains power, but should the mains fail it also features an inbuilt rechargeable tamper-proof lithium cell that lasts for upto to ten years to provide continuous operation with a vital back-up power supply.
Containing AudioLINK™ technology, the EI3028 heat & carbon monoxide alarm allows for the extraction of data in real time directly from the heat and CO alarm to a tablet or smartphone using the AudioLINK™ application. In the event of the alarm going off, CO or Fire indicators flash to indicate which was detected. Different alarm sounds will occur depending on the source of the alarm’s trigger.
The Aico EI3028 heat & carbon monoxide alarm is equipped with a Test/Silence button that facilitates regular system and alarm testing. Its silence function enables the user to silence the system/alarm in the event of a nuisance/false alarm or fault/low battery beeping.
The Aico EI3028 continuously and automatically tests its own internal circuitry, battery, and sensors at 48 second intervals. Any faults discovered are indicated by audible beeps and/or flashes of a yellow LED.
The Aico combined heat and carbon monoxide alarm is also compatible with SmartLINK™. Wireless interconnection and data extraction are possible by plugging in the Ei3000MRF module. This also enables notifications in real time of events and alarm activations via SmartLINK™’s Portal and Gateway.
